Monday evening held a race to beat the setting sun.
You wanted to photograph our wedding rings together.
This was the first time, in our eight months of marriage,

I watched you fall deep within your own excitement at the mere thought.
Then watched as you stuttered and faltered inside your personal apprehensions.

the ghost
I don't know what I'm waiting for,
because I am a ghost and yet
I sit on my hands and wonder
where you've been -

Really lovely. The simple but strong imagery, the concept, and the ending. It all flows together very nicely.
Well done.
